Principal's Message

Dear Whidby Community,

It is with great excitement and honor that I serve as the proud principal of Whidby Elementary School. As a native Houstonian and proud product of Houston ISD—having attended Montgomery Elementary School, Dowling Middle School (now Lawson MS), and Madison High School—I am deeply invested in the success of our district and honored to now serve this incredible school community.

I furthered my education at Lamar University and Texas Southern University to ensure I was fully equipped to lead, inspire, and support students, staff, and families with purpose and passion.

With over 15 years of experience in education—as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and campus leader, I am committed to cultivating a culture of high expectations, academic excellence, and meaningful relationships. I believe in the power of collaboration and will work closely with our staff, families, and community partners to ensure every student is supported, challenged, and empowered to succeed.

Driven by a deep passion for equity and student growth, I lead with a student-centered mindset, ensuring that all children have access to high-quality instruction, a safe and nurturing environment, and equitable opportunities to thrive as confident, capable learners and leaders.

I look forward to building strong partnerships with each of you this school year. Together, we will ensure our Whidby Wildcats are equipped with the tools they need for success—now and in the future.
